The PCE-DRH 1 is a portable digital refractometer used to determine sugar content, water content, degrees Baumé (Bé°), and refractive index of honey with corresponding measurement ranges of 0 ... 90 % Brix, 5 ... 38 % water, 33 ... 48 Bé°, and 1.3330 ... 1.5177 nD. The waterproof refractometer with IP65 sealing class features automatic temperature compensation (ATC) from +10 ... +40 °C / +50 ... +104 °F, as well as a large, easy-to-read LCD display that simultaneously shows the measured value and temperature.

Due to automatic temperature compensation, the device can be used under changing temperature conditions and does not need to be recalibrated each time the temperature changes. Additionally, when measuring the refractive index, the temperature is perfectly compensated. For proper device operation, careful handling is recommended, including cleaning and avoiding shocks and extreme vibrations.
