The PCE-DRH 1 is a handheld digital refractometer for honey. It measures sugar content (0 ... 90 % Brix), water content (5 ... 38 %), degrees Baumé (33 ... 48 Bé°) and refractive index (1.3330 ... 1.5177 nD). The housing is waterproof to IP65. A large LCD shows the measured value and the temperature.

Automatic temperature compensation (ATC) works from +10 ... +40 °C / +50 ... +104 °F. You do not need to recalibrate when the temperature changes. Producers, sellers and buyers can use it for a quick check of honey for additives, added sugar or excess moisture.
