The PCE-DRS 2 digital salinity refractometer is specially designed to perform precise analysis of aqueous solutions. Thus, the user can perform simple quality checks and determine, for example, the sodium chloride percentage in liquids or the salt content in aquariums.
Thanks to the built-in light source, the measurement result is displayed quickly and accurately on the large, easy-to-read LC display of the salinity refractometer after automatic temperature compensation (10 to 40 °C) compared to analog refractometers that require an external light source to obtain an accurate measurement. Additionally, the display provides information about the measured temperature of the liquid.
The glass prism of the refractometer enclosed in the stainless steel disc can be cleaned quickly and easily before and after measurement. The prism has a cover that protects it from damage. The refractometer automatically switches off after one minute of inactivity to save battery life.
