PCE-T236 Digital Handheld Tachometer

The PCE-T236 is a digital handheld tachometer for both contact and non-contact measurement. This tachometer measures rotational speed as well as linear or surface speed with measurement units in rpm, m/min, or ft/min.

The tachometer features a built-in laser and includes reflective tape, which is placed on the moving part for non-contact measurement. Additionally, it includes contact tips, making it an ideal measuring instrument for machines, engines, conveyor belts, and other moving parts. Non-contact measurements are made using reflective tape attached to the moving part.

The display can be rotated 180º for reading from any position.

The tachometers (or speedometers) are measuring instruments that determine the rotational speed of a shaft or a disc, usually in revolutions per minute (RPM). They are critical tools for ensuring the correct operation of engines and machinery, allowing technicians to identify deviations from the nominal operating specifications.
