The 90° face mill is a cutting tool that takes AP carbide inserts and is used in milling machines or CNC machining centers. This type of face mill has a flat bottom and the inserts are positioned at a 90-degree angle. This arrangement makes it ideal for facing operations but also for shouldering (90°) operations.
