The PCE-125/4 is a Ford flow cup meter for determining the viscosity of low-viscosity liquids. The nozzle is held closed, the cup is filled, and the time until the outflowing stream first breaks is measured with a stopwatch.
The cup is machined from anodised aluminium and has an exchangeable stainless steel nozzle. An overflow channel and the supplied glass plate give a defined fill volume. Clean the cup and nozzle after every measurement, as residues and scratches falsify the result. The meter complies with ASTM D1200, D333 and D365 and comes with a factory calibration certificate. A stand is available as an optional accessory.
