The PCE-128/3 is an ISO flow cup meter for measuring viscosity. It determines the flow time of Newtonian and near-Newtonian liquids and is used in laboratories and in industrial production. The cup is made of anodized aluminium to DIN 53224 and has a stainless steel nozzle.

To measure, close the nozzle and pour the sample into the cup. Placing the glass plate on the cup creates a vacuum so the cup can be set in the tripod. Pull off the plate to start the measurement and stop the time as soon as the flow stops. Clean the cup after each use, as scratches or dried material residues affect later measurements.
