The PCE-128/4 is an ISO flow cup viscometer for determining the flow time of Newtonian and near-Newtonian liquids. The anodised aluminium cup works with a 4.0 mm stainless steel outlet nozzle and covers 34 ... 135 cSt, equal to flow times of 30 ... 100 s. Typical users are laboratories and industrial production.

To measure, close the nozzle, fill the cup and place the glass plate on top to create a vacuum. Set the cup in the tripod, pull the plate away and start the timer; stop it as soon as the flow breaks. Clean the cup after every use, as scratches or dried residues inside affect later measurements.
