The PCE-128/5 is an ISO flow cup for measuring viscosity as flow time of Newtonian and near-Newtonian liquids in laboratories and industrial production. It covers 91 ... 326 cSt, with flow times of 30 ... 100 s through a 5.0 mm outlet nozzle.

In use, close the nozzle and fill the cup, then place the glass plate on top; the vacuum created lets you mount the cup in the stand. Pull the plate off to start timing and stop the time when the flow breaks. Clean the cup after every use: scratches or dried residue inside the cup affect later measurements.
