The PCE-128/6 is an ISO flow cup meter for determining viscosity from the flow time of Newtonian and near-Newtonian liquids, in laboratories and industrial production. The anodised aluminium cup has a 6.0 mm stainless steel nozzle and an overflow channel, covering 188 ... 684 cSt and flow times of 30 ... 100 s.

To measure, close the nozzle, fill the cup and place the glass plate on top to create a vacuum. Mount the cup in the tripod, pull off the plate and start timing; stop when the flow breaks off. Clean the cup after each use: scratches or dried residue affect readings.
