The PCE-128/8 is an ISO flow cup meter for determining the flow time of Newtonian and near-Newtonian liquids. It is used in laboratories and in industrial production. The cup is made of anodized aluminum, the nozzle of stainless steel, to DIN 53224.

To measure, close the nozzle and pour the sample into the cup. Place the glass plate on the cup to create a vacuum, then fit the cup in the tripod. Pull the glass plate off and start the time measurement; stop it as soon as the flow stops. Clean the cup after each use, as scratches or dried residue inside affect later measurements.
