The PCE-ADL 11 is a data logger anemometer for wind and air speed. It measures in m/s, km/h, knots, mph and ft/min. Measuring units and intervals are set with the supplied PC software.

The internal memory holds 60,000 readings. After a measuring series the data is read out over USB and shown as a curve or a table. MIN, MAX and AVG are available, and an optical and acoustic alarm signals a limit value being exceeded. The smooth-running impeller reacts to low flow velocities. A threaded hole on the underside takes the supplied mounting bracket for fixed installation.

Anemometers

The anemometers are measuring instruments used to determine the speed and, in many cases, the direction of the wind. They are essential equipment for meteorology and industry, enabling accurate assessment of air masses and ensuring the safe operation of technical projects.

  • Types: They are classified into propeller (vane), anemometers with cups (cup), as well as thermal (hot-wire) or ultrasonic for high-sensitivity measurements.
