The PCE-BTE 10 tests vehicle batteries and charging systems by conductance measurement. It covers standard lead-acid, AGM, gel and EFB batteries and finds faulty batteries without charging them first. Starter and charging system tests run on 12 V and 24 V, with ripple measurement. It is made for workshops, battery factories and vehicle service.
Ranges are 8 ... 30 V DC and 100 ... 2000 A; results appear on a 2.4-inch TFT colour display (240 x 320 pixels). Test standards: CCA, BCI, CA, MCA, JIS, DIN, IEC, EN, SAE, GB. Results transfer to a PC over USB as a csv file, or to an Android device by QR code. The waveform display shows battery voltage and can be exported to the PC software. Reverse polarity protection is built in.
