The PCE-CRC 10 is designed to determine the quality of coating adhesion and is suitable for thin, thick or hard coatings on all surfaces. The measurement is performed very quickly and easily as follows: the coating is scratched crosswise and thus divided into grid-like sections. The large, non-slip handle and portable sensor facilitate secure, tilt-free application. Adhesive tape is then applied to the mesh area and then removed. Based on the number of broken segments, the adhesion tolerance is determined. The PCE-CRC 10 is supplied with an 11 point blade.
Since the adhesion of paints and other coatings is a critical quality characteristic for their protective reliability, adhesion meters are used in a wide range of applications such as the paint, coating and plastics industries, the processing industry and wherever coatings are applied. In addition, the meter is suitable for manufacturers of road marking materials.
