The PCE-CSM 10 is a colorimeter for quality control, with 8°/d measuring geometry and an 8 mm measuring aperture. It measures in several colour spaces (CIE L*A*B, XYZ, Yxy, LCh, CIE LUV, HunterLAB) and also shows the deviation between readings.
A reading can be stored as a reference value and compared with later samples. Internal memory holds up to 1000 reference values. Black or white calibration is selectable. The device is operated via the 3.5" touch screen and runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Measured data is transferred to a PC over USB; PC software is supplied.
