The PCE-CSM 8 is a colorimeter ideal for quality control, offering high accuracy and featuring a 3.5" touchscreen, color spaces (CIE LAB, XYZ, Yxy, LCh, and LUV), and a 45/0 optical angle. After measurement, the user can set the measurement as a nominal reference value to then compare these values with each subsequent measurement. It has built-in memory for 1000 reference values and 10,000 samples.

In addition to individual color space coordinates, the deviation between the reading (ΔE) is also displayed. Measurement data can also be transferred to a computer via the USB interface thanks to special computer software included in the package.

Colorimeters

The colorimeters are specialized measuring instruments that determine the absorption of specific wavelengths of light by a solution. They are based on the Beer-Lambert law to correlate color intensity with the concentration of a substance, enabling the objective analysis of color parameters that the human eye cannot quantify accurately.
