The PCE-GM 60Plus is a portable gloss meter that measures the gloss of different materials. It shines light onto the surface and detects the reflected part. From this, it calculates the gloss level and shows it on a 3.5" TFT touchscreen. It measures 0 ... 200 GU at a 60° geometry in 0.5 seconds. Measurements follow ISO 2813, GB/T 9754, ASTM D523 and ASTM D2457.
It is used for quality control where products must keep the same appearance, texture and properties. An included calibration plate allows self-calibration. A built-in rechargeable battery powers the meter.
