The PCE-HFG 1K is a compression load cell that hydraulically measures the compressive force it receives in Newtons. 

A special feature of the load cell is the 27 mm diameter ring adapter, which measures the compressive forces developed, for example on the bolts of a hydraulic press during tightening.

Dynamometers Newtonmeters

The dynamometers are measuring instruments used to determine the tensile or compressive force applied to a body. Their operation is usually based on the deformation of a spring or the use of electronic load cells (load cells), converting mechanical stress into a measurable unit of force, the Newton (N).

  • Types: They are classified into analog (spring) for simple applications and digital for high-accuracy measurements with data logging capability.
  • Applications: Essential for material tensile tests, spring quality control, door closing force measurement, and laboratory physics experiments.
  • Features: They offer Peak Hold function to retain the maximum value and the ability to switch units between Newton, kilograms (kg) and pounds (lb).
