The PCE-HM 100 is a heating mantle for heating samples and fluids in the laboratory. The liquid goes into a round-bottom flask of up to 100 ml, which sits in a crocheted mesh and is heated by a heating element underneath. The temperature is set steplessly with a rotary switch and held by the integrated controller.

The mantle draws 100 W and reaches up to 450 °C. A short heat-up time brings the full 0.1 litres up to temperature quickly. It is used to heat or temper samples and chemicals in the lab.
