The PCE-HT 224E is a mechanical rebound hammer for testing the strength of concrete. It measures to the Schmidt principle over 10 ... 100 N/mm² (1500 ... 8500 PSI or lbs/in²). The built-in mechanism always delivers the same impact energy of 2.207 Nm. It also measures the hardness of rolled paper.
The OLED shows the rebound value; force can be displayed in PSI, MPa, kgF/cm² or N/mm². Test angles are downward (-90°), downward (-45°), horizontal (0°), upward (45°) and upward (90°). Readings are stored internally and sent to a PC via USB. The rechargeable battery suits mobile use on construction sites.
