The PCE-HT-225A is a heavy-duty concrete test hammer, also called a rebound or Swiss hammer. It measures surface hardness and compressive strength of concrete, rock and other building materials. The test method is purely mechanical, with no digital components, and the hammer is calibrated by the manufacturer.

Use it in construction, structural engineering and material strength testing to classify concrete strength. Conversion tables for kg/cm², psi and MPa are printed on the back of the instrument and in the user manual. An optional test anvil verifies accuracy.
