The anemometer-thermometer with USB interface measures the flow velocity according to the hot wire principle . This guarantees a particularly compact design. The measurement range of the hot wire anemometer is between 0.3 ... 30.0 m/s / 0.98 ... 98.4 ft/s. In addition to flow velocity, the hot wire anemometer can measure volume flow and ambient temperature. For each measurement, a Beaufort scale is displayed next to the measured value. The current wind strength can be read from this scale.
With the built-in data memory, up to 960 measured values can be recorded with the data logger with USB interface. Data can be read directly on the hot wire anemometer. Also, the measured values from the hot wire anemometer can be transferred to a computer via the micro USB interface. The appropriate software for the hot wire anemometer is available on the PCE Instruments download portal for further processing of the data.
For optimal alignment, the telescopic arm of the data logger with USB interface can be extended up to 270 … 990 mm / 10.63 … 38.98 / 29.1". In addition, the head of the hot wire anemometer is semi-rigid and therefore can aligned in different ways.The hot wire anemometer's 1000mAh battery allows mobile use.To recharge the battery, the hot wire anemometer must be connected to a 5V DC micro-USB power supply.
