The PCE-IT 150 insulation tester works with test voltages from 500 V to 15 kV and measures insulation resistance from 0 ... 30 TΩ. Four buttons select common test voltages; the voltage can also be set in 500 V steps. Pre-configured diagnostic tests cover the polarisation index (PI) and dielectric absorption ratio (DAR). It also measures AC and DC voltage up to 600 V.

It stores 200 measurements and transfers them to the PC software over RS232; the software also operates the tester. Test timer, date and time display, external voltage alarm and automatic switch-off are included. It runs on a Li-Ion battery and the case is IP66 with the lid closed.
