Robust design / Battery operation
THE An ultrasonic detector is used to locate leaks in compressed air lines, coolant lines or gas lines. Its operating frequency is 40 kHz with a special filter which ensures that all frequency noises below 40 kHz are filtered out to perform better leak detection.
In addition to acoustic leak detection, the signal intensity is displayed on the screen. The sensor has a laser pointer for better targeting of pipes or pressure vessels. A lance can also be fitted to the sensor, which helps pinpoint leaks. Depending on the operating pressure in the pipeline, the user can safely locate a leak from up to 18 meters/ 59 feet away. The detector works with a rechargeable battery with a battery life of 6 hours. Comes with a sturdy carrying case that includes all accessories.
