PCE-MA 100 Thermobalance for measuring moisture by drying samples with a halogen lamp for the determination of moisture content
The PCE-MA 202 works on the principle of the gravimetric method. The thermobalance uses a halogen lamp to dry the sample of material to be analyzed. The moisture content is calculated based on the difference in weight before and after drying the sample. The heated drying chamber is suitable for testing and studying samples of materials such as wood, pellets, biomass, grains, feed, food products, pastes, resin.
Thanks to the impressive reading of 0.001 g / 1 mg, the thermobalance can determine even very small weight differences, covering a range of moisture content from 0 ... 100%, with a reading of 0.01%. Measurement values are displayed on the large, easy-to-read LCD display.
The thermobalance provides the possibility to adjust the drying time (1 ... 99 minutes) as well as the drying temperature (+40 ... +199 °C). Up to 15 different drying programs can be stored in its memory, thus ensuring a controlled, repeatable testing process for accurate results every time. Calibration of the thermobalance can be performed at any time using the automatic calibration function and the included 100 g weight.
