The PCE-MA 200 is a halogen moisture analyser. It weighs a sample, dries it in a heated chamber and calculates the moisture content from the loss in weight.

Halogen lamps heat the chamber from 40 to 199 °C. The weighing range is 200 g with 0.001 g readability, and moisture is measured from 0 to 100 % with 0.01 % resolution. Results are shown on the large backlit LCD. Up to 15 drying programs can be stored, and drying temperature and time are adjustable. An RS-232 interface is fitted. Typical uses are quality control of wood products, granules, pellets, feed, food and pastes. A 100 g weight is included for calibration at any time.
