The Clamp Meter has a measuring range of ±99.9 mA DC. With an accuracy of 0.3% of rdg. + 8 digits, the Clamp Meter is a particularly accurate measuring instrument. To conveniently perform measurements, the Clamp Meter itself is connected to a 1 meter / 3.3 ft cable. The Clamp Meter can thus be attached to the cable to be measured. The Clamp Meter can be conveniently placed aside at the workplace. This leaves both hands free while reading the measured values, for example to carry out adjustments or configurations on the process technology. Due to the high accuracy and the external sensor, the Clamp Meter is ideally suited to make quick and reliable current measurements when process signals are involved.
To carry out a current measurement, the Clamp Meter clamp must be clamped around the cable to be checked. This allows the Clamp Meter to measure the flowing current inductively. This has the particular advantage that a current measurement can be carried out during operation.
For improved visibility, the Clamp Meter is equipped with an LED. With the LED of the Clamp Meter, the measuring spot can be ideally illuminated. Optionally, the Clamp Meter can be delivered with an ISO calibration certificate.
