The PCE-MMK 1 is a handheld digital moisture meter for measuring the moisture content of wood, paper, textiles, concrete and other building materials. It also measures ambient temperature and relative humidity.
It is used for quality control and incoming goods inspection. Supplied with short and long insertion needles plus 3 external electrodes (ramming, penetrating, paper). The menu gives a self-test mode, preset material modes, temperature compensation, max/min values, LCD backlight and a dry-moist-wet indicator. The display shows digital and bar graph readings. Moisture % refers to dry mass, e.g. 100 % material moisture for 1 kg of wet wood = 500 g water.
