The PCE-MND 10 is a badge-type noise dose meter for personal noise exposure at work, to IEC 61252:2002. It measures 70 ... 140 dB with frequency weighting A, B and Z, and time weighting fast, slow or impulse. The 470 mAh battery lasts over 15 hours.
Up to three virtual dose meters run in parallel, so three measurement standards are recorded at once. The display shows up to 14 individually configurable measurement windows. Data goes to the PC via the charging station; the software reads out, analyses and configures the device. Coupled charging stations charge up to four dosimeters from one power supply. Two crocodile clips attach it to the clothing, 10 to 15 cm (3.9 and 5.9") from the ear.
