The PCE-MSR 450 is a magnetic stirrer for liquids up to 20 l. Speed is adjustable from 200 to 2200 rpm in steps of 10 rpm and can be changed during operation. A timer or continuous operation can be selected. In pulse mode the stirrer alternates clockwise and counterclockwise within a set time window; by default it stirs clockwise. A slip detection mode is also included.

A 25 mm (0.98") stirring bar is supplied. Bars up to 60 mm (2.36") can be used to stir volumes of 20 l. Slow start-up with a gradual speed increase prevents splashing.
