The PCE-PCO 2 is a portable handheld particle counter for monitoring particulate matter (PM) concentrations in the air. It counts 6 particle sizes — 0.3 µm, 0.5 µm, 1.0 µm, 2.5 µm, 5.0 µm and 10 µm — and also measures air temperature, dew point and relative humidity for indoor air quality (IAQ) assessments.

Typical uses: clean room monitoring, checking exposure to exhaust, smoke and other harmful air pollutants, and measuring airborne combustible dust such as agricultural, carbonaceous, chemical, metal, plastic and wood dust. HVAC technicians use it for system performance and filtration audits.
