The PCE-PH 28L is a digital pH meter for viscous liquids. It measures pH from -1 to +15 pH with 0.01 pH resolution, plus the temperature of the sample from 0 to 60 °C. The flat electrode membrane is fitted in a long plastic shaft of 75 mm, so samples can be measured directly in test tubes or small beakers using very small sample volumes. This makes the meter suitable for field work and for laboratory use.
Temperature compensation runs automatically from the temperature reading. Calibration is done with buffer solutions at pH 4, 7 or 10, using 1, 2 or 3 points. Calibration powders for initial commissioning are supplied, and the pH electrode is exchangeable.
