The PCE-PH20P is a portable pH meter for cosmetics. It measures 0 ... 14 pH with an external glass electrode on a 1 m cable, and the IP67 housing is waterproof.

Typical samples are shampoos, liquid cleansing toners, foams, gels and other water-containing substances. The pH is checked on raw materials, during production and on the finished product. For standard hair and skin products the ideal pH is 4.5 ... 5.5. Automatic three-point calibration at pH 4, pH 7 and pH 10 uses the supplied solutions.
