The PCE-PMI 3 moisture meter is a small and reliable instrument for measuring moisture in concrete and wood. The user selects the material of the surface to be measured on the device and then touches the metallic spherical sensor to the surface. The result of the measurement is displayed on the moisture meter both numerically and graphically after a few seconds.
A different alarm limit can be stored in the moisture meter for each material and measurement method. When the measurement exceeds this limit, an audible alarm is triggered. The device turns off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity.
Another special feature of the PCE-PMI 3 moisture meter is that when it comes to measurement in concrete coatings it gives the possibility to display the indication based on the Calcium carbide method, where the measured value is measured in CM%.
