The PCE-PQC 23EU is a handheld particle counter and air quality monitor. It measures particle sizes from 0.3 μm to 25 μm with mass concentration and records temperature, relative humidity and CO2. A photoionization detector (PID) measures volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Power management with sleep mode allows battery operation of over one month on a single charge. Use it as a stand-alone battery-powered instrument or connect it to building automation and plant monitoring systems via Ethernet or USB.

Dust Meters

Dust meters (or particle counters) are air quality monitoring instruments that detect the concentration of suspended particles (Particulate Matter - PM). Their operation is usually based on laser scattering (laser scattering) technology, where a beam of light strikes the particles and the sensor calculates their size and quantity.

  • Particle Categories:PM2.5: Fine particles (up to 2.5 μm) that penetrate deep into the lungs and the bloodstream.PM10: Particles (up to 10 μm) such as dust, pollen, and mold.
  • Applications:Industry: Dust control in carpentry workshops, cement plants, and mines to protect workers.Cleanrooms (Cleanrooms): Certification of pharmaceutical or electronics production areas.Environment: Monitoring of air pollution and "smog" in cities.
  • Features: They include a data recording function (data logging), audible limit-exceedance alerts, and often also measure temperature and humidity in parallel.
