The PCE-PQC 30EU is a fixed-mount particle counter that measures airborne particles from 0.3 to 25 µm in real time. It counts 6 user-selectable particle size channels and, with optional sensors, temperature and relative humidity. Up to 45,000 readings are stored internally with a time stamp.

The counter mounts on a rod or wall and connects via Ethernet or, optionally, Wireless 802.11 b/g, RS485 or RS232. It can be operated and monitored remotely from a web browser, so it integrates into building automation and cleanroom management systems. Additional weather sensors can be added.

Dust Meters

Dust meters (or particle counters) are air quality monitoring instruments that detect the concentration of suspended particles (Particulate Matter - PM). Their operation is usually based on laser scattering (laser scattering) technology, where a beam of light strikes the particles and the sensor calculates their size and quantity.

  • Particle Categories:PM2.5: Fine particles (up to 2.5 μm) that penetrate deep into the lungs and the bloodstream.PM10: Particles (up to 10 μm) such as dust, pollen, and mold.
  • Applications:Industry: Dust control in carpentry workshops, cement plants, and mines to protect workers.Cleanrooms (Cleanrooms): Certification of pharmaceutical or electronics production areas.Environment: Monitoring of air pollution and "smog" in cities.
  • Features: They include a data recording function (data logging), audible limit-exceedance alerts, and often also measure temperature and humidity in parallel.
