The PCE-PQC 32EU is a fixed-installation particle counter for real-time measurement of airborne particles from 0.3 to 25 µm. It counts 6 user-selectable particle size channels and, with the optional sensor, also measures temperature and relative humidity. The internal memory holds up to 45,000 readings with a time stamp.

The counter is mounted on a rod or a wall and can be read and controlled remotely through a web browser. It links to building automation and cleanroom management systems via Ethernet or, optionally, Wireless 802.11 b/g, RS485 or RS232. Supplied with a NIST-traceable calibration certificate.

Dust Meters

Dust meters (or particle counters) are air quality monitoring instruments that detect the concentration of suspended particles (Particulate Matter - PM). Their operation is usually based on laser scattering (laser scattering) technology, where a beam of light strikes the particles and the sensor calculates their size and quantity.

  • Particle Categories:PM2.5: Fine particles (up to 2.5 μm) that penetrate deep into the lungs and the bloodstream.PM10: Particles (up to 10 μm) such as dust, pollen, and mold.
  • Applications:Industry: Dust control in carpentry workshops, cement plants, and mines to protect workers.Cleanrooms (Cleanrooms): Certification of pharmaceutical or electronics production areas.Environment: Monitoring of air pollution and "smog" in cities.
  • Features: They include a data recording function (data logging), audible limit-exceedance alerts, and often also measure temperature and humidity in parallel.
