PM2.5 display for dust measurement in the workplace / Dust monitoring for PM2.5, temperature, and humidity / Battery operation / Visual warning indicators

The PM2.5 particle monitoring device PCE-RCM 05 is used for continuous measurement of particle content in the workplace, while temperature and humidity are simultaneously displayed. The PM 2.5 measurement range is from 0...500 μg / m³. Below the large PM2.5 content measurement display, it provides quick information about air quality using icons.

The PCE-RCM 05 fine dust display is powered by a rechargeable battery. The LCD display is backlit and readable from any angle. Besides the standard white backlight, the PM2.5 display changes the lighting to red in case of an alarm.

Dust Meters

Dust meters (or particle counters) are air quality monitoring instruments that detect the concentration of suspended particles (Particulate Matter - PM). Their operation is usually based on laser scattering (laser scattering) technology, where a beam of light strikes the particles and the sensor calculates their size and quantity.

  • Particle Categories:PM2.5: Fine particles (up to 2.5 μm) that penetrate deep into the lungs and the bloodstream.PM10: Particles (up to 10 μm) such as dust, pollen, and mold.
  • Applications:Industry: Dust control in carpentry workshops, cement plants, and mines to protect workers.Cleanrooms (Cleanrooms): Certification of pharmaceutical or electronics production areas.Environment: Monitoring of air pollution and "smog" in cities.
  • Features: They include a data recording function (data logging), audible limit-exceedance alerts, and often also measure temperature and humidity in parallel.
