The PCE-RDM 5 is a compact radiation dose meter for X-ray, gamma and beta radiation. It uses an energy-compensated Geiger-Müller counter tube and measures from 0.08 to 9999 µSv/h at 0.01 µSv/h resolution. The real-time reading is shown on a TFT colour display and the menu is operated via a navigation bar.

The meter has three alarm modes: sound, LED light and vibration, with a freely adjustable alarm limit. Under the Radiation Protection Ordinance (StrSchV), personal dosimetry with such a meter is mandatory in some areas. The internal battery is charged through the USB-C port.
