The PCE-RVI 1 is an analogue dial reading viscometer for Newtonian fluids, with a measuring range of 100 ... 100000 mPa s. It measures paints, lacquers, inks, pastes, adhesives, plastics, greases and liquid food products in industry and research, for product and material testing, development, production and quality control.

Use a glass beaker or square container at least 70 mm in diameter and 130 mm high. Immerse the spindle to its level mark and select 6, 12, 30 or 60 rpm. At 6 or 12 rpm, read the dial once the pointer is stable. At 30 or 60 rpm, lock the pointer, cut the power, then read.
