The sound calibrator is a battery-powered sound source that can perform sound level meter calibration as well as other noise measurement systems quickly and accurately. The calibrator features a microphone connection hole for 1, ½ and ¼ in as a special hole diameter adapter is available.
The calibration frequency is 1000 Hz for weighting A, B, C, D. This is the reference frequency for internationally standardized evaluation curves. The calibration sound pressure is 94 ± 0.3 dB (1 Pa) and 114 ± 0.3 dB (10 Pa).
