The PCE-SFS 10 is a handheld electrostatic field meter with a measuring range of ±60 kV DC. It shows whether surfaces, components or the human body are electrostatically charged, so it is used for checks in ESD-protected production areas. Two lasers align the sensor with the object being measured. The supplied earthing cable with alligator clip grounds the meter, so it neither falsifies its own reading nor discharges into components.
Besides field strength, the meter measures ambient temperature and humidity. It runs on a 9 V block battery for up to 20 hours and shows the remaining charge on the battery status indicator.
