The PCE-T 240 tachometer is a multifunctional device that takes measurements with laser, contact, and also features a stroboscope and thermometer function with K-type and P1000 thermocouples.The contact measurement range with the tachometer is 0.5 ... 99,999 RPM. To transmit the speed to the tachometer, it is delivered with two rubber measuring ends with an internal and an external cone. In the case of contact measurement with the tachometer, the speed can also be determined in m/min, for example, using the wheel-end.
Apart from contact measurement, speed can be measured with laser. For this, a piece of reflective tape measuring 1 x 1 cm is placed on the test object. The speedometer can determine the speed via the reflection of light from the tape.
Additionally, the speed can be determined by the tachometer using the stroboscope function. The flash frequency can be doubled or halved for direct adjustment. The speed with the stroboscopic function is then determined as soon as the test sample appears stationary.
In addition to measuring the number of revolutions and speed, the tachometer provides the possibility of temperature measurement. For this purpose, any type K thermocouple can be connected. If required, a PT1000 resistance temperature sensor can also be connected.
Thanks to the many functions, the tachometer can already be used in many fields with a wide range of applications.
