The PCE-TAT 10 is a mechanical pull-off adhesion tester. It measures the adhesion of paints and other coatings to the substrate, between layers and of cohesive materials. It is built to EN13144 and ISO 4624.

A dolly is glued to the coating. Once the glue has cured, the spring mechanism pulls the dolly off and the pull-off force is read directly from the scale as the adhesion value. Two dolly sizes cover up to 10 MPa (100 bar) and up to 6 MPa (60 bar). The supplied fast-curing glue keeps test times short.
