The PCE-THB 40 measures air temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure and logs the readings to an SD card (up to 16 GB SDHC). Readings appear on the large LCD and are stored simultaneously, so values can be read directly or transferred to a PC or laptop for graphical evaluation as a curve.

Data is saved as an .xls file, so no software is needed for evaluation. The internal real-time clock with date timestamps every event, and the measuring rate is adjustable. Used for long-term recording in the food sector (refrigerated counters in department stores, refrigerated transport, warehouses) and in industry (heating and cooling processes, machine temperatures, product storage).

Hygrometers - Room Thermometers

The indoor hygrometers and thermometers (often referred to as thermo-hygrometers) are instruments for monitoring environmental conditions in indoor spaces. They allow simultaneous monitoring of temperature and relative humidity (% RH), ensuring occupant comfort and protecting sensitive materials from mold or drying out.

  • Functions: They feature high-response sensors, maximum/minimum value memory (Min/Max) and often a comfort level indicator (Comfort Level).
  • Applications: Essential in homes, offices, food storage areas, server rooms, museums and greenhouses.
  • Features: They are available as simple digital units for home use and as recording units (data loggers) for professional monitoring, with the ability to export data to a computer.
