The PCE-UV 40A is a two-channel meter that measures UV-A radiation and visible light at the same time. The external sensor sits on a 1.5 m cable, so it can be placed exactly where the reading is needed, using the holder and the 460 mm extension rod.
Typical uses are checking UV lamps for material testing to EN ISO 9934-1 and EN ISO 3059, tanning bed control and workplace lighting control. Illuminance is measured accurately regardless of lamp type, with automatic range switching. Up to 20 data records are held in the internal memory and read out over Mini-USB.
