The PCE-W3 measures the absolute moisture content (% H2O) of waste paper. Push the robust penetrating probe into the paper, switch the meter on and read the value on the LCD. The measuring range is 6 ... 30 % with 0.1 % resolution.

It is used for incoming goods inspection of large amounts of waste paper or paper containers, at collection centres and in paper mills. Documented readings let the buyer raise a claim with the supplier. The meter is supplied with a calibration certificate; an ISO calibration certificate is available as an option and recalibration can be carried out at any time.
