The PCE-WMM 50 is a wall-mounted gas detector that monitors indoor carbon dioxide (CO2) levels and ambient temperature (°C / °F). It measures by diffusion. An alarm-activated potential-free contact can, for example, switch on a fan to reduce the CO2 concentration in the room.

The detector comes in two parts: a sensor unit and a remote display unit, so the readings can be monitored outside the exposure zone. CO2 is a colourless and odourless gas used in the food, metal, chemical and waste management industries, and continuous monitoring protects workers from the associated health hazards.
