Measures the degree of whiteness of blue light (Wb = R457) / Meets ISO 2470 and ISO 3688 standards / Compact, light and user-friendly
PCE-WSB 1 is a handheld battery powered whiteness meter used to measure the brightness level of paper, cardboard, cellulose, pulp, textiles, paints, enamel, plastic, porcelain, cement, concrete, building materials, chemicals, powders, talc, starch, flour, salt, detergents, cosmetics and other non-metallic substances.
The device determines the luminance level by measuring the intensity of diffused light reflection on a scale of 100. The luminance level of a completely black surface is defined by the meter as 1. Black, white, and glow standards are included with the meter for user calibration as needed to ensure that accurate, repeatable measurements are consistently obtained.
