The PCE-WV A is a wind direction sensor for fixed installation in industrial environments. It measures wind direction over 0 ... 360 ° with no dead centre at north and sends a 4 ... 20 mA signal to data loggers, process control systems or displays. The IP65 housing protects the sensor from the weather, and a 20 m cable is fitted for connection to the evaluation unit.

Typical uses are wind warning systems, building services and building automation, irrigation control, greenhouse automation, solar trackers, cable cars in ski areas, cranes, wind turbines and weather stations.

Anemometers

The anemometers are measuring instruments used to determine the speed and, in many cases, the direction of the wind. They are essential equipment for meteorology and industry, enabling accurate assessment of air masses and ensuring the safe operation of technical projects.
