JBO Precision Long Life thread cutting die from Europe's leading die manufacturer. Made from HSSE (ASP 30 powder metallurgy), lapped and nitrided to prevent cold welding. The extended 2.25P chamfer and increased number of cutting edges deliver exceptional tool life — Long Life dies outlast multiple standard dies.
Applications: stainless and acid-resistant steels, quenched/tempered/case-hardened steels up to 1,200 N/mm², short-chipping aluminum alloys.
