The PCE-228 is a very user-friendly handheld pH, redox, and temperature meter. The pH value and temperature can be saved directly on the SD memory card (Excel file) or transferred directly from the pH meter to a computer via RS-232. For this purpose, optional software and the appropriate RS-232 interface cable are available. Temperature compensation is done either manually or automatically using the supplied temperature sensor.
The pH meter has a three-point calibration, which is performed automatically. For measuring redox potential, an additional REDOX electrode must be ordered. Here we recommend the ORP electrode ORP-14. The pH meter operates on battery power (6 x 1.5 V batteries included).
